The season of giving

November is in full swing and with it comes the holiday shopping season. We’ll be doing an episode dedicated to items you may want to get the obsessive movie fan on your list in time for Black Friday.

But what sort of items do you want to unwrap this year? Let us know and we’ll add your ideas to our episode. Email us at or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter!

Danger! Danger!

Bonhams, one of the largest auctioneers of fine art, will be teaming up with Turner Classic Movies to host an auction of film and television memorabilia on November 21st. The auction, titled “Out of This World!” features the iconic star of Forbidden Planet, Robbie the Robot. Along with Robbie, the jeep that he drives, his control panel and a Superman suit from the George Reeves TV series.

Prior to that TCM and Bonhams will present an auction of vintage movie posters from the 30’s and before.

More information on both of these auctions can be found here

In the not too distant future…
