Everyone’s talking about next summers releases…

…and I’m over here trying to catch up with the new trailers and clips. Starting with this bit of grisly fun from Anna And the Apocalypse (warning, there’s a bit of red in it).

Let’s follow that up with the trailer for Sony Classic’s release of Capernaum.

Let’s wrap things up with this clip from Newly Single, which you can see here.

New trailers! (we start fires)

As grains through the hourglass so accumulate new movie trailers!

Let’s start this week with the first teaser for The Secret Life of Pets 2 featuring the talents of Patton Oswalt.

Next up we have the second trailer for The Front Runner.

I wonder which will play in front of The Grinch?

Love. Pain. Neon Movie Bunker.

I see a little silhouette-o of a podcast! This week, John and El’Ahrai review “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Piercing”, and “Keep an Eye Out” (those latter two courtesy of the Ithaca Fantastic Film Festival)! But wait, there’s more! We also have an interview with “Monster Party” writer-director Chris von Hoffmann! Plus contests to win copies of “Mile 22” (on Blu-ray) and “Sharp Objects” (on DVD)! What else do you need?! Fresh? Fresh as monkey’s breath, brother!

You can hear it all here!

Mile 22 *and* Sharp Objects giveaways!

That’s right friends, we have more discs to give to you! The same rules apply, head over to this link and subscribe through your preferred method, take a screen shot, send it to us along with your mailing address at Mail@neonmoviebunker.com with your preferred title as the subject line.

We’ll randomly select a winner for each title.

Now… Open your ears to… the Neon Movie Bunker

El’Ahrai and John return with another new show, this time bearing reviews of “Mid90s” and “Mandy”! But wait, there’s more! We also have an interview with “Killer Kate!” actor Grant Lyon! So listen up and listen good! That’s much too vulgar a display of power, Karras.

Listen to every frightening minute here!

Ithaca Fantastik 2018 on the Neon Movie Bunker

That’s right, it’s festival time once more and I will be covering the 2018 Ithaca Fantastik festival for your listening enjoyment. My coverage will run in next week’s show (which you can be sure to get if you subscribe) but to give you a taste of what I may be talking about here are some of the films that caught my eye.

Keep An Eye Out

Since we were talking about eyes, let’s start with this French film from director Quentin Dupieux. The logline for this is standard stuff, a team of officers at a police station have to solve a crime. But then you remember that Dupieux is the director behind Rubber and Wrong. I have a feeling “standard” will not be a word to describe this film.

Following an erotic web cam performer as her account and followers is taken over by a more envelope pushing doppleganger, I expect that this film will tap into some of the unease that comes with any internet interaction. You never know exactly who you are dealing with online.

We all have that one thing we know is wrong but wee’re curious about anyway. In this film we follow a man who takes a step away from his normal suburban existence to dabble in something less savory. But these things always come with a price.

There is way more playing at the festival and these are just the tip of the iceberg. For more information on the festival itself and what titles are playing there click on this link!
